Upper Room

In each neighborhood possible, we will create community with each other and with God. We will do this by obtaining small venues located close to homes or businesses and provide a place for community. Each will be connected by common leadership, worship, values, and outreach.

We will do this by planning our first church multiplication within the first year. We will save a portion of our offerings to finance this plant. Understanding that there are 135,000 persons in Elk Grove in 2007, we feel an urgency to multiply the locations to reach every neighborhood. Utilizing the power of the internet, we will create internet pods for extended e-communities. Within five years we want to have two additional venues and have internet pods in five cities.

We measure success by kingdom growth. This means the individual steady progress through conversion, baptism, receiving the Holy Spirit, using the Spiritual Gifts received, and then mentoring others to continue the process. When this happens enough times, critical mass develops and multiplication occurs.
