God’s Lamb
One dark day on Calvary,
God’s own Lamb died just for me.
As God placed hands on His head,
choosing Him for me instead.
Speaking all my sins on Him,
freeing me to live again.
Knife on throat, His blood poured down,
silently made not a sound.
Touching blood on heavens’ throne,
purchased me, His very own.O, the sacrifice of God,
shed for me, his Son’s own blood.
God in all eternity!
What a value placed on me!
Giving up His precious One,
God the Father, God the Son.
How can I, unworthily,
speak of all He’s done for me?
How can I, unworthily,
speak of all He’s done for me?
